Rich, vibrant and unspoiled
Bangka Island, off the north coast of Sulawesi, is a dream for divers who love variety and unspoiled nature. In the heart of the Coral Triangle, it offers colorful reefs, steep walls, sandy slopes, and striking rock formations. An underwater world rich in life and discovery.
Diving with everything included
Bangka’s dive sites are close to each other and offer something for every level. Constant water circulation keeps the reefs healthy and marine life abundant, turtles, reef sharks, tuna, and even the occasional dugong. For macro lovers, there’s plenty to discover too: pygmy seahorses, frogfish, ghost pipefish, and countless nudibranchs.
Excellent conditions
Visibility is usually excellent, 20 to 30 meters is quite common and the water temperature stays pleasantly warm around 28-30 celcius all year round. Our experienced dive guides know the area inside out and carefully tailor each dive to the conditions and your level. This makes Bangka ideal for both beginners and advanced divers, as well as for underwater photographers and reef enthusiasts.
Away from the crowds
Unlike better-known destinations such as Bunaken or Lembeh, Bangka is still free from mass tourism. No crowded dive sites or rushed schedules, just small-scale diving in small groups, tailored to your pace and interests. The short distances between dive spots mean relaxed boat rides and maximum time underwater.
