Advanced Open Water Diver

Ready to take your diving skills to the next level? The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about building confidence, expanding your abilities, and experiencing new types of diving. With this certification, you’ll be qualified to dive up to 30 meters (21 meters for Junior Advanced Open Water Divers aged 12–14), opening the door to deeper adventures and exciting new environments.

What you’ll learn
This course is designed to be fun and practical — no long classroom sessions, just diving and developing your skills.
You’ll complete five adventure dives, two of them are mandatory:

• Deep dive – safely explore beyond 18 meters and learn how depth affects you.
• Underwater navigation – improve your compass skills and natural navigation.

Three elective adventure dives – choose from a wide range, such as:
• Drift diving
• Night diving
• Wreck diving
• Peak performance buoyancy
• Digital underwater photography
• Fish identification

Who can join?
• Minimum age: 12 years (12–14 earn the Junior Advanced Open Water Diver certification).
• Certification required: PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent from another agency).

Course duration
Usually completed in 2 to 3 days, depending on your chosen dives and schedule.
