Divemaster

Turn your passion for diving into a profession! The PADI Divemaster course is the first professional level in the PADI system and your gateway to a career in scuba diving. As a Divemaster, you’ll become a leader who supervises diving activities, assists instructors, and inspires others to explore the underwater world.

What you’ll learn
This course takes you beyond recreational diving into the role of a dive professional. You’ll develop:

• Leadership skills – organize, plan, and supervise diving activities.
• Rescue & problem-solving abilities – handle real-world situations calmly and effectively.
• Professional-level dive knowledge – physics, physiology, equipment, and dive planning.
• Practical training – guiding certified divers, assisting with student training, and conducting certain PADI programs independently (like Scuba Review/Reactivate).

Who can join?
• Minimum age: 18 years
• Certification required: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent)
• Logged at least 40 dives to begin, and 60 dives to certify
• Current EFR (First Aid & CPR) certification within the last 24 months
• Medically fit for diving (signed medical statement required)

Course duration
Varies depending on your pace and involvement. Typically 3 to 6 weeks, but can be structured as an intensive internship or spread out over a longer period. This is the ultimate way to gain professional training while becoming part of our resort team. You’ll not only complete your Divemaster certification but also gain hands-on experience assisting real guests working side by side with our instructors, and living the life of a dive professional. The additional costs of a full internship (all meals and room included) are € 250 per week.
